The number of people who are attempting ways to make money online or make money blogging has risen exponentially in the past several years. There are many reasons for this:
• The economy tanked, and people with lost or insecure jobs turned to see if they could make money from home on the Internet, doing online marketing.
• The Internet has evolved to the most powerful business & trade tool ever… many say Google alone now carries the impact of a major super-power country! (And Facebook is close behind)
• As an Internet presence became essential for every small & large business, thousands have learned web design and started a career as website creators to build all the new sites the business owners cannot.
Perhaps the simplest answer is, people need money, and today everyone knows at least one person who is making a little or a lot of money online, and they figure, “If they can do it, why can’t I? I’ll give it a try.”
The Internet has, without doubt, become the most massive marketplace on Earth, so naturally it seems like there should be enough opportunity for everyone. In the early days of online marketing, relatively inexperienced people made tons of money putting up garish banner ads on websites and spamming popular keywords of the day (like ‘Britney Spears’) all over the Net.
Then the big search engines like Yahoo & Google got wise and created new policies and algorithms to make most banner ads and spam a thing of the past. More recently, Internet income newbies turned to affiliate marketing, selling other people’s products for commission, in various forms, and once again, in the beginning, affiliate marketing was easy and quickly lucrative. But once again, the mighty Google has clamped down to stem the tide of unnecessary redundant content just to make affiliate commissions. That, plus the sheer volume of new affiliate marketers all trying to get their affiliate site to #1 on Google page 1, has made it so competitive that, now, very few affiliates succeed at making a consistent substantial income this way.
Indeed, the statistics show that less than 2% of all people trying some form of online marketing ever make more than a few hundred dollars a month, and most make nothing at all!
That sobering statistic clearly illustrates that, as powerful and huge as the Internet marketplace is, if you are thinking it is an easy ticket to securing a fat monthly income and a wealthy lifestyle, you’d better think again and probably look elsewhere. 98% of you simply aren’t going to make diddly-squat at this game.
So why did I, a total neophyte to html, website-building and marketing on the Internet, even consider such folly? Because it is possible, the amount of passive income you can bring in monthly is abundant, and I can teach you how to do this and make you one of the successful 2%.
